About Me
MY NAME IS Karen
With a commitment to diversity and equality, Karen has set up several initiatives that tackle and confront matters related to injustice and to create a fairer world. In 2015, Karen kickstarted Absolute Alchemy, dedicated to uniting communities and partnering with impactful organisations to drive social and environmental change. Karen has cultivated a large network of inspirational speakers and facilitators, within her network, whom she collaborates with to curate events that create lasting change. As a trained Therapeutic Wellbeing Practitioner, she has drawn on her training to develop creative and innovative approaches to hosting events.
When the pandemic hit and the events industry was severely disrupted, Karen turned her head to looking at starting a new initiative called Spirited Futures, a leadership academy for young changemakers. The initiative focuses on developing an intergenerational mentoring programme and hosting retreats in nature, engaging a tribe of young entrepreneurs and disruptors dedicated to prioritising the planet and its people.
Most recently, she founded VOE Speaker Agency with two other female entrepreneurs, with a mission to amplify underrepresented voices and help to foster innovation and drive change. The power of bringing fresh perspectives into corporate and business arenas, is vital to ensure innovation and inclusivity are championed.
